Make love, not war… (or get some sleep)

Imagine have a war every night. They're a duvet hog, while you're always cold, and a light sleeper. Being disturbing in the middle of the night with a game of tug-of-war as you yank your half of the duvet back.

Duvet-hogging is just one of the factors that make sleeping together harder for many couples. Snoring, separate bedtimes, sleep conditions and different bedtime rituals can all lead to poor sleep and discord between couples. Survey research from bed brand Sealy UK shows that over one third (36 per cent) of couples that live together regularly ditch our partners and sleep alone. And one in ten of us sleep separately all year round.
